Only the Best Materials, Backed by Leading Brands

This project was constructed using a premium combination of architectural materials sourced from leading Australian manufacturers. The roofing system features Speed Deck 700 roof sheeting, Sharpline Direct Standing Seam, and Monument Colorbond®, providing a durable, modern, and visually striking finish.

To elevate performance and weather protection, we integrated Solitex Adhero, 55mm Permora insulation, and custom folded flashings from HMR Supplies. Additional fixtures—including Velux FCM skylights, Stainless Steel Bremick fasteners, and 150mm half-round guttering with A4 external brackets—were selected to ensure long-term reliability, seamless integration, and a high-end architectural outcome.

Our combination of elite materials and certified craftsmanship ensures this multi-level home benefits from superior weatherproofing, energy efficiency, and aesthetic refinement.

The Challenge

This property presented a series of architectural and logistical challenges that required advanced roofing expertise and precise execution.
The home included multiple roof levels, varying pitches, and complex roof junctions, each demanding exact measurements and seamless integration between materials. The primary roofing section relied on Sharpline standing seam over a plywood substrate, requiring tight tolerances around edges, valleys, and join lines.
Coordinating installation with the Fibre Cement (FC) cladding team added an additional layer of complexity, as both trades relied on perfectly aligned interfaces to achieve a watertight, premium finish. The project also required multiple skylight integrations across the lower rear roofs, each demanding careful detailing to ensure zero water ingress and long-term durability.
Despite tight access, multi-level structures, and highly detailed finishing requirements, the Austek team approached each challenge with precision and a commitment to architectural excellence.

Our Solution

Austek developed a structured installation plan tailored to the home’s intricate design. Our certified roofing specialists began by preparing the plywood substrate and installing the Sharpline standing seam system with millimetre-level accuracy. This created a clean, modern and fully watertight primary roof surface.

The team worked collaboratively with FC cladders to ensure every junction, penetration point, and flashing was installed in sync, preventing future water issues and maintaining the sharp architectural lines requested by the builder.

We installed several Velux FCM skylights, ensuring each unit was seamlessly integrated with Speed Deck 700 sheeting and equipped with precise flashing kits for maximum waterproofing. Custom folded flashings, rainheads, and half-round gutter systems were fitted to complement the home’s aesthetic and ensure premium water management.

The end result is a high-end residential roofing system that blends technical expertise, architectural detailing, and superior materials—delivering a finish that both looks exceptional and performs flawlessly.

Roofing System that Supports Structural Performance

This home’s design demanded a roofing system that supports both structural performance and comfortable living. The combination of Permora and Solitex Adhero insulation, along with well-placed skylights, enhances natural airflow and thermal stability throughout the interior.

The standing seam and Speed Deck profiles create uninterrupted lines that promote efficient water runoff, while the half-round guttering system improves drainage and reduces debris build-up. These elements work together to improve the home’s long-term breathability and energy efficiency.

The multiple roof levels add architectural character, but also require precision craftsmanship to ensure that every junction works cohesively. Our attention to detail—from the fine cappings to the seamless integration of skylights and cladding intersections—ensures that the home not only looks elevated but performs to the highest standard.

With all systems working in unison, the final result is a breathable, resilient roofing envelope that enhances comfort, protects the structure, and upholds the architectural vision.
