This government-sector project at Clovelly Public School involved the removal of existing tiled roofing and replacement with a new metal corrugated roofing system across three school buildings. The scope also included the application of window spray finishes to enhance weather protection and durability.

Completing roofing works across multiple buildings within an operational school presented unique challenges around access, scheduling, and safety. Managing noise, site separation, and safe movement around the campus was critical throughout the 12-week program.

Austek implemented a staged construction program to safely remove the existing tiled roofs and install new corrugated metal roofing systems across each building. Works were carefully sequenced to minimise disruption to school operations and maintain a safe environment for students and staff.
